Having lived alone for so long, lost his parents, and surviving day to day fighting the skull crawlers, how comforted Kong might feel if even one creature showed him kindness and compassion. He did emote something deep and sorrowful when feeling the touch of a tiny human woman, perhaps reminding him of the memory of his mother. One day, an unusual being hatched on his island, and when he goes to investigate, instead of cowering in fear or baring fangs in aggression, this tiny, vulnerable looking larva looks at him with empathy and compassion. Her soft blue glow calms him, quiet purring reassures, and with a power he can’t quite understand, she tenderly heals his wounds… -- source link
