Seriously?!The oceans have to be filling something in, so it makes sense that the world isn’t completely smooth. Still weird seeing it like this…Granted the Earth isn’t as smooth as many people visualize, but in this visualization (taken from gravitational measurements) the vertical scale has been exaggerated by a factor of 7000, so the pits and crests aren’t anywhere near that large in reality. -- source link
