This should be major news but I have yet to hear anything about it in media. This attack had nothing to do with free elections. Police officers were standing four feet from me in the rotunda when I was assaulted trying to stop people from bursting down the hallways towards the Senate cambers, I was called a “faggot cunt” - I think that is Trumpstanian for transgender woman. This was a hate crime. No police or security rendered assistance, made an arrest, or stopped the assailants as they marched on past me as I reeled and held my face.
