tricksylittlehobbitses:Sick of being asked ‘What’s so good about The Lord of The Rings?’ I decided to put a little sticky label in my copies of The Fellowship of The Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of The King (RoTK being the nearest book) each time I read something that I loved. This is what happened.I colour coded it because why not;Green = general awesome quotes by all characters and epic descriptions of landscapes and placesPink = Things Sam Gamgee does and says that make me love him Pastel orange = Faramir/Éowyn momentsPurple = Legolas/Gimli bro-mentsYellow = Epic poems/songsSo in answer; what’s so good about The Lord of The Rings is that I can’t even turn a page without reading something so utterly profound/enlightening/resonant/epic that my heart breaks. -- source link
