{Love the materiality here, as well as those large, spindly pendants!}Barton is a restaurant, tapas bar and raw food establishment that opened late last year in Barcelona’s Eixample district in a space designed by architect Magüi González. The interior design of the 80 square metre (861 sq.ft.) space is by Isabel López Vilalta.We love how the cozy, traditional taverna atmosphere is first achieved with the reclaimed wood, felt-coated walls (great for for acoustics as well as appearance), unpretentious furniture and colorful cushions, and how it is then nicely balanced with the sleek, hard, white floor and bar to conjure up a casual, urban ambiance. -- source link
