@nekosammsi awww shucks thank you~~OLM DRAGON:Olm Dragons are a species of “deep cave dragons”, meaning that in a natural state these dragons dwell in massive underground caverns and are never naturally exposed to sunlight. Unsurprisingly, olm dragons are completely blind and find their way around the cave systems using their feathery mane which is able to feel changing air currents and brush along narrow tunnel walls to warn of collision.Because of their isolated existence, olm dragons have no natural armour or any other clear means of defense, lacking any sort of talon, claw, or tooth. Their ability for flight seems to have evolved specifically so they can travel between underground pools to ease the strain of overfeeding in one area. Their wings are not very powerful and not made for extended flight, instead they have several sets of smaller wings that can fit through tunnel passes and work well for quick bursts of movement. As olm dragons grow, they can develop anywhere up to five different sets of wings in order to lift their elongated bodies, though eventually they will become too large to lift themselves, and usually die shortly after this critical point is achieved. In death, their bodies ensure a rich deposit of nutrient back into these isolated caverns. -- source link
