According to the report, men and women share similar opinions on abortion but have women opposing all forms of abortion by 2% more than men. [source]The second is the 2012 General Social Survey Final Report on the trends in public attitudes towards abortion between 1972 and 2012. You can see that men and women agree at about the same rate in both yes and no columns. However, in the ‘as a result of rape’ section it is women that oppose abortions more than men between 1978 and 2010 by at least 2% with 2010 being the largest difference by 6%.
