My meetings in Rome were finally completed and I caught the red-eye flight home as soon as I checked out the hotel. As I was driving towards my street, I called my wife to see where she was. She answered on the second ring,“ hey baby what are you doing ?” I answered, “ oh nothing just finished packing to come home. What are you doing ?” She replied, “ just laying in bed watching a movie.” While I was talking to her I parked the car two houses down, so she wouldn’t hear the car. I walked to the door with roses in hand and knocked. She groaned, “ baby hold on ok, there is someone at the door.” I answered, “ ok hurry .” She opened the door and I said, “delivery for Mrs…” Before I could finish the sentence she instantly started kissing me.
