galaxiagorgeous:I was curious how this new sketch pad from Canson I bought would hold up, so I decided to draw Esmeraude from the Black Moon clan. I finally got those Zig CleanColor brush pens (had a delivery issue…) so I tried those out too on her dress. The dress itself was inspired by a lovely piece from Georges Chakra. The paper itself is alright for watercolor, but better for markers. It did handle water quite nicely though, without being torn apart into shreds. Naturally it buckled, but that’s expected.This is also the first sketch I’ve ever inked with a dip pen. I bought one and a few different inks to give myself a bit more freedom in terms of lineart color. Keep reading -- source link
