And no, it doesn’t affect the binding, because the compression part is only in the, shall we say, compressible area, but the garment itself is as long as a normal tank top (some binders aren’t, but many are) so the tzitzit hang at his hips like they’re supposed to. To expand on this outside the context of Jake, I wear half-binders (stopping approx where the lower band on a bra would rest or maybe a little lower idk I don’t wear bras) and I wouldn’t be able to modify them for tzitzit without compromising their structure. However, if I wore full tank top binders, I suspect that having kosher corners would make them actually more comfortable (for me, personally), because undershirts tend to ride up on my torso due to my proportions and it’s annoying -- source link
