It’s been exactly a year since this lump of absolute perfection passed away. This week has been very difficult for me. I miss her so much.Please, if you’re able, honour Peggy’s memory by making a donation of cash or food to the shelter I adopted her from, Iris’s Cats in Need. Iris has run the charity out of her back garden for decades, relying on a small number of volunteers to help foster and rehome cats around the city, as well as running a TNR (trap, neuter, release) programme. This past year has been very difficult for them, as Iris is quite old now and classed as clinically extremely vulnerable, so has had to shield throughout the pandemic. Still, they haven’t given up, and have been rescuing and caring for cats throughout. I’ll also be donating to Iris any new pledges I get on my Patreon from now until the end of the month if that’s something you’d prefer to do. -- source link
