A handful of observant Staten Islanders occupied the street in front of Borough Hall in St. George on Tuesday morning to take a peek at the NBC hit series “The Blacklist” in action.Crew say they have been setting up since 7 a.m. and are permitted to film for one day only – but we know they’ll eventually be back. From the street corner, Staten Islanders can see Raymond “Red” Reddington – Spader’s character described as “America’s most-wanted mastermind” welcoming a character in a green plaid shirt with jeans into his navy blue Grand Wagoneer.Borough Hall seems to have a high position on “The Blacklist.” The show filmed in the courtyard next to the building in November 2015. A dozen extras lined the side of set, dressed in business attire. The scene – that crew called action on at 11:45 a.m. – was shot for the show’s first episode of the fifth season.See any film shoots in your neighborhood?
