crowe-molybdenum: for the last two years I have gone about designing and building bikes that I like, most of the time has been spent eating pasta and establishing stable, staunch ways of overcoming the problems that came into this ‘framebuilding equation’ when I wouldn’t compromise what I wanted, materials, geometries, standards, to make the process easy. This is not to say that what I wanted hasn’t changed in respect to the huge amount of learning that I go through every time I build a frame, It has changed a lot. but at each point in every framebuild, I have gone about doing things in the way I can best justify for the object, the way which compromises what is not important, to gain what is important. In the words of some jerk- ‘I hope I get to do this for a long time.’ -- source link
