victuuriwriters: INTRODUCING THE VICTUURI WRITERS COLLECTIVE Welcome to the Victuuri Writers Collective, a new network for Victuuri writers and readers alike. Our goal is to be a main hub for everything related to Victuuri fanfiction, with hopes of connecting fanfic readers with new and exciting fics from our directory of fanfic writers. WHAT WE OFFER FOR WRITERS A directory any Victuuri fanfic author can be added to. If you are a Victuuri fanfic author and wish to be added, please fill out this Typeform. The #victuuriwriters tag. Anyone who is a part of the directory can tag their works with this tag and have their fics reblogged to the Collective. “Fic of the Month” and “Author of the Month” features. On the 1st of each month, one fic and one author will be chosen to be featured on our blog for the month. The chosen author and fic will get a promotion post (graphic for the fic along with a review for the FOTM, graphic and author bio/featured fics for AOTM). “New in Victuuri Fic” weekly bulletin (updates every Saturday). Anything new that appears in the #victuuriwriters tag will be added to this bulletin along with updated WIP fics, new fics we find on Tumblr/AO3 during the week, ect. A Discord chat to connect with other readers and writers. If you wish to be added, all you need to do is message the main blog (or IM @flowercrownyuri) and we will send you a link. FOR READERS Use of the #victuuriwriters tag to post your own fic reviews, fan art for fics, author appreciation posts. Exposure to authors you may have not heard of before! One of the big things we wish to do is promote fanfiction from the “unsung” heroes of the fanfic world by promoting their fanfictions through our weekly bulletins, writers tag, ect. After the blog is established, we wish to host ‘fanfic appreciation weeks’ where our readers would follow a set of prompts (Fluff Day, Angst Day, Under 5k Day, ect.) and recommend fics that fall under those categories. A Discord chat to connect with other readers and writers. If you wish to be added, all you need to do is message the main blog (or IM @flowercrownyuri) and we will send you a link. It’s our hope that through this Collective, we can begin connecting readers and writers in new and exciting ways, and truly creating a sense of community within this blog. WANT TO BE AN ADMIN? JOIN ME! Right now, I (@flowercrownyuri) am the only admin on this blog. In order to handle the sheer volume of what I wish to do, I’m going to need more admins to help out! If you’re interested, you can apply for an admin position by filling out this Typeform. If you are chosen to be an admin, you will be added to the following: The Victuuri Writers Collective blogA Discord chat for admins to talk with one another (joining this chat is a requirement)Google Docs spreadsheet to keep track of what part of the blog each admin is assigned to keep up withAfter I choose all the admins, then we can discuss who is going to update what, schedule for choosing FOTM/AOTM, ect.
