dfitzger: by @bicyclingmag: MTN-Qhuebeka Natnael Berhane tapes a route slip to his stem before yesterday’s queen stage at the Tour of Utah. Berhane was part of a four-rider chase group on the climb to Snowbird behind a flying Joe Dombrowski. The group reached the finish over a minute behind Dombrowski to sprint for second. Optum’s Rusty Woods won the four-up sprint, while Berhane scored a podium finish with third. On Friday Berhane spent over a lap ahead of the field during the Salt Lake City circuit race, a move he says was inspired by a desire to win not only the stage, but also the general classifcation. Berhane currently sits fifth overall, 1:26 behind Dombrowski, ahead of today’s mountainous stage on the roads around Park City. || Words and photo by Jen See @twobluebikes.
