Opening night is this Saturday. #Repost @folddtla (@get_repost) ・・・ FOLD Gallery presents Goodnight Moon, a group exhibition featuring the imaginative works of LA based artists Dr. Knudson (@dr.knudson), kAt Philbin (@stupidanimals), Christopher Payne (@saltedteeth) and Jennifer Nguyen (@mogpoe). Grim illustrative images that appear to be found in nonsensical story books, evoke childhood memories and lulling emotions as each artist presents gentle macabre style works. From Dr. Knudson’s entropic works of man, nature and the passage of time to the delightfully strange and intricate illustrations of kAt Philbin, Christopher Payne and Jennifer Nguyen, the exhibition showcases the unique ability of each artist to see the world with askew humor fused with charm and dark fantasy. ▪️ Opening Night: Saturday, September 23rd from 6PM - 9PM.
