Boundless Adventure. I’m a naturist adventurer. Wherever I go, my clothes stay behind. I prefer it that way. I don’t get scraped, bruised, or beaten as much as you think. When I do, I can usually just wash it off. As a bonus, I have nothing to snag, tear, or clean and repair. I love nothing more than getting lost in the back woods. It’s here I understand how much we need nudity in our lives and how amazing nature is. Like all living things on this planet, we share a connection to nature. It’s hard to feel while wearing clothing, but when they come off and we listen, nature sings. It’s not like the city at all. Everything there is disjointed. I always get a chill or tingle through my body when I look along a path. The dappled sunlight dancing through the leaves. There’s so much opportunity. So much to be explored and discovered. It breathes and is alive. Like a complex organism, we should all be working together to keep it that way. I feel sorry for outdoor textiles who don’t/can’t understand. They wear clothing that purport to whisk away moisture and keep the body active. How can they be when clothing restricts their movements? Becomes overburdened with sweat and weighs them down? Every time, they ask how I have so much energy and can get so far ahead. They never connect that our bodies were made for this and we don’t need clothing to “help.” They think I’m crazy, all while slipping in mud. That’s not to say I don’t use clothing. Clothing can be a useful tool. When it’s too cold, it keeps me warm. Dry when it’s too wet and safe when it’s too dangerous. Clothing can also make a great pillow and be used as bags to hang or carry things. Back home people can’t believe what I do. Somehow they can’t grasp that most of the things we do don’t need clothing. I don’t argue. It’s pointless. Showing them is much better but even then, they don’t believe. Being open and honest with those who will listen is worthwhile because eventually they don’t see the nudism. I don’t waste time on those who are too closed minded or bigoted. They have bigger concerns and I don’t need to add to them. So get out there and reconnect with nature. The benefits are as boundless as they are rewarding. Enjoy. Text by Made in the Nude.
