rp. @limitlessbwlI couldn’t even believe it when I saw that I was on @fentybeauty ’s page. Like WHAT. Thanks so much to team But that’s not all, I wanted to share a little story with you guys. When fenty beauty first launched I wasn’t going to purchase anything. Not because I didn’t want to but because I was broke. Yup, that’s right I had about $130 to my name. You may think that that’s not being “broke” but for someone who had little to almost no income, being self employed, and not knowing when your next opportunity would be, it was. I didn’t know how many months I’d need to survive of the little I had left. But I saw that everyone was super excited for the launch and something just told me I had to try it. The morning of it’s launch I got my brother to drop me off at the mall and I bought myself the foundation, and two match sticks, and a sample of the primer cause I couldn’t afford to get anything else. I was left with less than $20 to my name. Being a self employed individual who didn’t have much work and making barely anything on YouTube trust me when I say that that is ALL I had. So I bought it, and bussed it back home. I got home and made a video on the foundation right away. And that video is now one of my most viewed videos on YouTube. Now, in the spectrum of YouTube videos and views it may not be a lot but that video made a huge difference in my channel! Because of that video I began to understand YouTube a bit a more as well, and I focused on it full time ( minus a few set backs here and there ). Anyways, as I’m writing this caption I don’t even know what the point of me telling you this story is … it could be one of two things, or both. You gotta take chances in life, big or small cause you’ll never where it can take you. And never believe what you see on social media. I bet no one would have ever guessed the struggles I went through and still go through. Because I, just as every other person on social media including yourself chose to show our followers what we want them to see. No ones life is rainbows and sparkles . -- source link
