[read on ao3!] In this chapter: Cari steps into Kattegat’s hall for the first time and considers her sister’s warning. The journey to England sees an agreement to form a united front, while reunions at the Great Army’s encampment may provide further allies.. I felt the time was right to shift into Cari’s POV for this chapter, now that she’s been established in-narrative properly. Seeing things through her eyes might open up a new avenue or two, while Ubbe’s reunion with Hvitserk is exactly what you might expect out of these two idiots.
