Happy Valentine’s Day! I was just thinking about the different ways people show love. Katara and Aang are canonically very open and mushy about their affection, but I think that Zuko and Sokka would be– well, whatever this is. (ID under the cut)[ID: A digital comic. The next panel shows Sokka looking at them intently with is head resting on his hand. Zuko is to the right of him, talking nondescriptly to someone else. Sokka then looks at Zuko, getting an idea. Below, Sokka whispers to Zuko, who’s back is turned: “psst– ZUKO.” “what” “Let’s do what Katara and Aang are doing.” “why” “Because I wanna be CUTE.” “I thought you said they give you oogies.” “PLEASE” “whatever.”On the next page, Sokka happily opens wide. He looks horrified when Zuko shoves the chopsticks on the side of his face instead of his mouth. Sokka says, “WEH?!?” Underneath shows Sokka, visibly angry, as Zuko continues to purposefully miss his mouth. Little speech bubbles of Zuko’s say, “woah, darnit, I keep missing your mouth, yikes, oopsie daisy, sorry, I’m super clumsy today, dang nabbits, ah, oops, yeesh, sorry.” Zuko then laughs, “tch- haha hee.” Sokka looks at him angrily, with sauce all over his face. Then, Sokka smiles evilly.”Sokka, blurred with motion, BONKS into Zuko. Sokka yells, “GIVE ME A HUG, HONEY.” Zuko says, “NO.” Sokka slides his face down Zuko’s, laughing. Zuko screams, “SOKKA! NOT THE ROBES, SOKKA! STOP STOP.” Underneath. Zuko frowns and wipes his face, while Sokka continues eating with sauce on his face. There is an ellipses above them. Zuko then looks at Sokka and says, “… you aren’t gonna clean off your face?” Sokka says, “why would I” Zuko says, “Well- Because- Because it’s dirty!” The panel underneath shows Zuko and Sokka arguing, while Katara and Aang look on. There is a pink cloud behind Zuko and Sokka. Sokka says, “So?” then Zuko, “what are you, a toddler? A toddler than can’t keep his fa–” “I’M A GROWN MAN, ZUKO. A GROWN MAN CAN KEEP FOOD ON HIS FACE IF HE W-” “Sokka, it bothers me when things are dirty, you KNOW THIS.” “YOU WERE THE ONE WHO DID THIS TO ME.” “JUST LET ME-” “NO” Aang, with his arm around Katara, says, “D’aww.” Katara, smiling, says, “They’re so cute~” End ID.] -- source link
