Some field trips may have had extra security (and we did have one substitute who was a reservist and wore both hats), but if you think Israel is in any way similar to a wankfest gun utopia, you probably need to have your confirmation bias surgically removed.So far I haven’t talked to a single Israeli who doesn’t think American gun culture is Fucked Up (and I have family and friends across the political spectrum, from the TLV liberal bubble to the wrong side of the green line).Yes, that would be the security guard they often hire for field trips. They rarely wear uniforms. The woman in the crowd of kids is most likely the teacher. Also note that the rifles these school trip security guards use are usually ancient models left over from 1948 and sometimes before.
