ruthbancroftgarden:Echeveria chihuahuaensis comes from the mountainous western part of the state of Chihuahua, in the Sierra Madre Occidental. It resembles E. colorata, which occurs farther to the south, but it is a smaller plant with a shorter flower stalk. Plants of this species have been confused with E. colorata in the horticultural trade in California, and one sometimes sees plants of E. chihuahuaensis labeled as E. colorata. Because of its mountain origins, Echeveria chihuahuaensis has quite a bit of cold tolerance and can endure temperatures down to at least the low 20′s.-Brian -- source link
