From the field notes of Hugo Lorelei, Historian Year 1032, 13 Hiversi–Chali Edimu, Ambassador of Famsendor, circa 814 A.E.DThe port city of Sentaeva, renowned for its marvelous architecture of carved pumice, sits in a scenic archipelago on the southern coastline. The great city is home to many prominent figures of government in the Famsendorian Empire. Chali Edimu, traveler and diplomat, is among the most well-known of those who’ve called the city home. In ten years time from the date this photo was taken, she would broker a peace between the Shelled City of Man and Famsendor after war ravaged both states. —I’m beginning a detailed illustration/study series of each of my characters from my Götterdämmerung fiction/art project set in Earth a thousand years after environmental degradation and the sudden destruction of the old world’s infrastructure allowed new civilizations to flourish. Chali Edimu’s name is equivalent to Charlene Adams, and Sentaeva is located on a dramatically altered Lousianan coastline. -- source link
