HTTYD OC - Dawn the Dragon Thief heyy, it’s ya girl ;) Snarky, strong-willed and a force to be reckoned with, Dawn is the youngest of four older brothers. Ambitious and goal-oriented, she’s a quick learner who keeps her emotions guarded as a no-nonsense type of girl despite all the nonsense she enjoys to give her foes. She’s skilled and quick in flight on the back of her Wraith, and a threat in combat when armed with a dagger or two. She also has sectoral heterochromia in both eyes (brown and blue). It was about time to update and give her a proper-ish character sheet, especially since the boys got one. Looking back at Dawn’s tag on here, I can see just how much her story has really evolved and taken shape over the past year. Her story certainly isn’t the same as it was in her very first design post.So, to give a more up to date pitch of her story (without spoilers): When a young lass by the name of Dawn loses the tribe, family, and home she once knew, she finds herself taken under the (literal) wing of a dragon and a mysterious dragon vigilante. Befriending the fiercely feared and revered Sand Wraith, Dawn is taught by her new mentor, Valka, the ways of dragons in the home of the Bewilderbeast. Soon, she too becomes a “dragon thief,” going out to save and protect dragons. When an up and coming elite trapper on the rise proves to be dangerous threat to the nest, Dawn makes it her mission to do what she can to stop it (while in search of recovering something(s) she lost on the way). -- source link
