Skylights in the banking hall of the Royal Bank of Scotland, by me on Flickr.36 St Andrew SquareOriginally Dundas House, it was purchased by the RBS in 1825. It opened as a bank in 1828, and in 1857 architects Peddie & Kinnear designed the banking hall. The hall was opened in 1861, and it was restored to its original Victorian color scheme in 1971. In 1991, the bank added a stone floor that echoes the design in the ceiling. -- source link
