ameliarating:pyrrhiccomedy:puelhathnofury:pornosophical:I’ve never been prouder of my people@hellscabanaboywell where can I read itI’m pretty sure he’s talking about Rabbi Isaiah Horowitz, or the Shlah (so named for his most famous work Shnei Luchot HaBrit). Let me see if I can find you a link. @pyrrhiccomedyYou guys are lucky I work for an online library of Jewish texts. Below is the Shlah’s commentary on Parashat Vayeshev, where it says that Joseph was tattling on his brothers. What was he tattling about? According to the Shlah, he was telling his father his brothers were having sex with golems. Also according to the Shlah: Joseph was well meaning but mistaken in thinking that that was such a sin. Basically, it wasn’t so bad.English here (verses 8-11). It assumes some knowledge of Hebrew and the text, so if any of you have any questions, let me know. Also, check out Sefaria’s library in general! -- source link
