We are 30 weeks in today! Upon cooking dinner, I managed to get lots of the prep on my belly . It’s part of the gig. With 7-10 weeks to go, I am feeling the “deadline pressure” with many things. Lots to get done and secured for my fellow foxes @foxdanceredlands before my temporary departure. Lots to get done here at home with Operation Flamingo. And this period is the normal nesting portion of pregnancy, but knowing that doesn’t make it any less stressful . Xander has become very protective of Mommy & “Gabiella” these days. Today he insisted on going to grocery store with me, “to protect us from bad guys”. Heart melted! He’s such a beautiful, little boy. I’m so grateful to have him on this journey. Children really are the closest thing to Heaven on Earth. “I don’t know how you do it, Raquel.” This is usually in reference to not only the everyday adulting stress, but other great adversities I face. How do I keep it together? Truth is I don’t all the time. I have my moments of worry, anger, sadness.. I have moments where people take me too close to compromising my Christianity and going straight Urquizu postal. BUT!!! Humility, friends, that is too often mistaken as weakness in today’s world, is a great weapon. The humility to remain calm, to remain faithful, to love and pray for those that hurt you is far more powerful. In the midst of greatest difficulty, God gives me strength that I cannot find on my own. The good Lord’s message this week has been: “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith” (Galatians 6:9-10). Be blessed friends & fam.. Lifting you all in prayer always! ❤️ #blessed #babygabriellalourdes #bigbrotherxander -- source link
