rodeo-adv-labs:I’ve had a few clothing companies ask me recently if I want to be an ambassador and I’ve politely declined them all not because it wouldn’t be rad, but because I want to try all the different brands and ride my favorite whatever that ends up being - as an individual, not the mouthpiece of Rodeo. This brings me to another review post, this time of @velocioapparel. I didn’t know anything about them before Jered brought their stuff on a shoot in August. Since then I’ve ridden a bunch of their stuff and am super impressed. Previously my favorite bibshort was the Castelli Body Paint which they stopped making, but now the Velocio Luxe Bib takes the top spot for me. Everyone is different but for me they just nailed everything about the fit and construction of the short. And yes in a subjective way it’s the most comfortable short I’ve ever owned. I’m also a very big fan of the classic jersey and the ES long sleeve. The fabrics are the right weight and the fit just happens to be perfect for my frame. I have a HUGE pet peeve with vests that don’t have pockets so I constantly grab their wind vest no matter which kit I’m wearing because of course it fits well but more importantly IT HAS POCKETS. I’d consider a few people at Velocio to be industry friends now but they don’t sponsor me and they don’t know I’m writing this. I just thought it would be cool to share some feedback on a smaller clothing brand that is getting the details right and making stuff excellently. -- source link
