rhodeskc: While Justin Bieber is an excuse to hate America’s hat, there’s many things to be thankful to Canada for: poutine, Whistler ski resort, and of course, Emily Batty. Not only is she bloody fast and born in to a family of racers, she is hard as nails: she competed with a broken collar bone and bruised shoulders in the 2012 Summer Olympics, no easy feat when you consider her main discipline is not road biking but MTB. As of 2013 she races for team Trek Factory Racing, who also has another crowd favorite - Jens Voigt. -- source link
