I’ve been trying to work in my sketchbook more often lately. Dealing with emotions, distracting myself, learning and studying, and just drawing stuff I enjoy with no care in the world and no concern if it’s ‘good’ or ‘correct’ is all quite nice. Some of the anatomy and poses are questionable, I get very carried away with fabric folds, they aren’t well-thought-out compositions….but that’s not what a sketchbook is for. I get paralyzed a lot by perfectionism and expectations, which can stop me from creating and sharing some of the art that I want to do (aka anything with human/humanoid characters because I am so insecure about that stuff,,) But I’ve been enjoying this sketchbook so far so here are some pages from it. -- source link
