joshestyler:Holding On To You I’ve always explained it, lyrically, as- I use the word “introspective” ‘cause it’s kind of a view inside of what I was going through at the time and, you know, it has- some people will call it rap. I really was just focusing on writing poetry at the time, you know, I’d sit down and I’d write a chunk of poetry and then I’d realize there was just way too many words to sing all of that. -- source link
