Vondelpark is one of my favourite places on this big, beautiful planet of ours. I spent a few hours there every days of my trip to Amsterdam. Huge and green the park is filled with people doing yoga, playing guitar, painting, and generally just chilling. There is more wildlife there than I thought was possible to find in a city: parakeets, herons, and every other sort of bird all enjoy the park along with the hundreds of humans that flock to this marvellous green space in the city centre. -- source link
