nubbsgalore: today is world wildlife day. consider that the african elephant is listed as vulnerable, while all species of rhino and gorilla are critically endangered. these photos show the efforts of care takers at the david sheldrick elephant orphanage in kenya, the lewa wildlife conservancy for rhinos in kenya, and the senkwekwe gorilla center in the d.r.c., all of whom work twenty four hours a day caring for these orphaned animals.
