silverlessly:2020blaq:It always gave me a good feeling to see young ladies sitting together doing each other’s hair, playing those paddy cake games, or teaching each other how to make keychains out of lanyard. They always seemed so peaceful, and happy bonding with each other. I thought that girls were so special when I was a young boy. I always liked when they wore their sandals, with their toes painted in the summertime. I enjoyed how they were so giddy doing dance steps, playing hop scotch, or jumping double dutch. The introduction of not caring about the ladies into hip hop culture really fucked young men up mentally (me included). We went from calling the ladies Honeys, and Sweetness, to calling them Bitches, and Hos. In turn, to the ladies we became Niggahs who ain’t shit, and just a way for them to use us, the same way that we used them. As a grown man I do admit that the culture that I came up in has definitely effected my outlook on life, but I do remember a time when we all appreciated each other more…Sir I appreciate the sincerity and positivity of that insight but you have this as a blog bannerIn my comment I said that I too developed a fucked up mentality as well. I never said that I was a shining example of what a man should be. I painted this picture, and I’m proud of it. It’s an artistic expression of just how negligent I can be. I can definitely understand where you’re coming from, but there are many aspects to an individual, and all of them are not filled with positivity, ESPECIALLY when it comes to a kat like me. @silverlessly -- source link
