At the Myrtle Beach Bowl, a big moment happened that I’m sure most people missed - Big Blue and the Food Lion mascot got together for a photo - which was big because back in the 80′s the ODU logo was the above left photo - and one of the big jokes of the time was calling ODU Food Lion University because of the similarity to the Food Lion logo - now all these decades later - the two mascots collide with a cool photo op - celebrating - unintentionally I’m sure - our shared history…. -- source link
