beebips: Cursed Gary’s Nan Moodboard! A little old lady stands before you, grinning brightly in the doorframe. She looks at you with such a warmth that you’re sure this can’t be the woman who makes your boyfriend stand out in the snow. The cozy warmth that emanates from her seems to settle all around you, and she pulls you into a hug that’s slightly tighter than you would expect from such a frail woman. She pulls back and locks gazes with you, and you recognize Gary’s eyes in her own, and the familiarity washes away your anxiety, replacing it with the scent of wafting cinnamon and flour. “Come in! Come in!” She commands, a smile spread wide across her face, and then she disappears into the house. Gary leads you inside to a little sitting room, filled with pictures of his younger self across the wide wooden beams. The only sounds in the house are the clattering of the kitchen somewhere behind you. Gary’s nan reappears quickly, and is putting a mug of tea in your hands before you can even reject the offer. It’s sweet, almost sickly sweet, but she’s probably losing her taste anyways. “Dear, make yourself at home. I have a good feeling I’ll be seeing quite a lot of you from now on!” She says, reaching out to place a hand on top of yours. She’s much colder than the last time you were this close to her, despite the fact she’s been holding a hot mug for a good while. Her blue eyes stare at you intently, and your heart picks up the pace in your chest, a gentle, rolling drumming against your ribs. The chill of her skin on yours sends shivers down your spine, and you realize she hasn’t let go of your gaze. You swallow hard, a lump forming in your throat, and you sure it’s not exactly a good feeling, but it is a feeling that makes your stomach tighten into knots and heart stop in your chest for just a moment, before hastening until you can feel your heartbeat in every inch of your body, pounding, shouting, screaming. You turn to look for Gary, but he’s nowhere to be found. Don’t you feel a little woozy? -- source link
