App store dropped tumblr because of all the porn-bots and the MASSIVE amount of CHILD porn on their site that slipped under their radar (and let me remind you they did nothing to fix it for the longest time)Got the brilliant idea to create an algorithm in a very short time that was supposed to get rid of it (truly genius)Algorithm started to target all accounts linking to external sites before adapting and targeting Adult Artists because “surely they are the cause of it”People called them out and they stopped it (kinda… it’s still deleting accounts) Sollution? Just remove any NSFW posts from search loooooooool!! Can’t find it, problem solved.So lemme get this straight.. there are hundreds of artists (if not more) on tumblr that do this for a job. Something they were told is totally fine by their own TOS. And then they remove it from one moment to another fucking over all of them and screwing up their way of income. OK -- source link
