aglancethrough: Funerary monuments of (1) Michelangelo Buonarroti, (2) Dante Alighieri, (3) Niccolò Machiavelli and Galileu Galilei in Basilica of Santa Croce, Florence. Besides its beauty, what impressed me more was that I could relate each one to their work, like the delicacy of Michelangelo’s funerary monument with his paintings, or the robustness of Dante’s one with his writing. -- source link
