thisgameisbeyond:consultingeastwind:teaandqueerbaiting:consultingeastwind:mrsashdown:Here’s my message I sent last night to vivala.me, and their answer. Well, I wouldn’t say that is exactly an answer, not to my question at least. Have others received feedback from the site?If communicating with them this way (as I initially thought would be the way to go about it) leads to basically nothing, then maybe we should just send them stuff, videos and so forth.@the-7-percent-solution @teapotsubtext @just-sort-of-happened @worriesconstantly @teaandqueerbaiting @itsastudyinlife @inevitably-johnlocked @euphoriccalliopeThe Vivala site is not asking for credit card info, is responding to in-character type correspondence, and has actively suggested using Sherlock as a recipient. If enough of us play in-character and never break the 4th wall, maybe the next correspondence they send will be the clue to What To Do Next in the ARG.This is something I’ve been wondering about. They advertise that they will release your assets exactly the way you want them to, but can anyone who’s signed up confirm this? How does it work? Do you upload an asset and select a trustee and a date and that’s it? Is there a “special instructions” section (like somewhere that you could say “put this video on a DVD and then wrap it for my sons 16th birthday” etc.?Uh… It’s very unwise to actually give them anything identifying like videos of our faces or real names. Please don’t upload vids of yourself, people! If it’s part of the ARG then we have to be in character like Mrs Gabrielle Ashdown above, a TPLoSH canon character. Seems like they won’t play with us if we are ourselves. If it’s another bitter trolling anti like TheLostSpecial.com then all the more reason not to feed the troll. If this site has any hidden pages to TJLC or Johnlock showing 404 Error or something of that variant, time to cross Vivala off our list and move on to something else fucky.Anyone who is considering uploading things to this site should know that you are giving up your worldwide rights to any images, they will own them and could sell or disseminate them without your consent, it’s in their terms and conditions!! Just an fyi, but maybe a red flag?@teaandqueerbaiting @consultingeastwind @mrsashdown @221bloodnun @worriesconstantlyAgreed. I haven’t signed up, and don’t plan to do so, but everyone should use caution. FB uses the same sort of system, but it’s still something that causes me to squint (and I typically stay off FB too, partially because of this.) -- source link
