The Academy-Award nominee recently had a screening of the movie Annie at the Best Buddies held at Sony Studios in Los Angeles. Here’s what the 11-year-old actress had to share with the mag:She would never change her name: “I will never change my name, because that’s what I was born with.”Annie was a natural transition for her: “I like singing because you can express yourself and they might not know if it’s about you or someone else. I kind of sang in the car when my brothers were traveling for basketball, but then when I got the part in Annie, I had singing lessons.”Her awareness of being a role model: “I feel it when I go to movies and I take pictures with the little kids.
