Films Watched in 2021- (19/???)Barb and Star Go to Vista del Mar (2021) - Josh Greenbaum (3.5/5)You’re either going to love or hate this movie. I fell on the love side, as it’s highly reminiscent of a Mel Brooks-written SNL sketch expanded to feature length. There’s quite a bit more to it than the trailer would have you believe, so I’ll let you decide whether or not you’re along for the ride. My only real complaints is that there’s so much talent in the film but aside from our leads, everyone else credited up front are just glorified cameos; I could have done without the Morgan Freeman imitation from a white dude that pops up in the back half, too. -- source link
