It is a typical crime procedural—like Law and Order—crossed with adaptations of fairy tales. It reminds me of early Buffy a fair amount (and CT agrees, so you know that’s legit). The premise is that the world is full of human-but-not-human creatures, most of whom share some traits with one kind of animal or another. Grimms are people who have the ability to see what they truly are, and the responsibility to essentially police them—keep the bad ones from harming innocent people. The main character is both a Grimm and a cop, so his cases and his Grimm activity tend to intertwine.EVERYONE START WATCHING GRIMM! We have a drinking game and everything.—MMI am impressed that you like it that much if you’ve only seen the first four episodes. It gets WAAAAY better. Oh, no–CT has only seen four episodes. (This is a two-person blog.) I have seen all of them, several of them multiple times. She’s only seen four because that’s how many we watched in our first round of my Grimm drinking game. :)–MMEDIT: Or wait did I completely misunderstand you. Sorry if I did! -- source link
