‘Katana ZERO’ Cover ArtI recently painted this promo piece for ‘KATANA ZERO’, an upcoming neo-noir 2D action game by Askiisoft and published by Devolver Digital. Expect this design to grace some cool T-shirts sometime in the near future.The file name on my desktop is ‘switch_icon.psd’, which shows you what I thought this would be used for. This was during the community uproar over minimalist Switch menu icons so I was determined to make one they couldn’t get mad at, and that was all.A week later, and this picture is all over the game’s trailers, product pages, and PAX booths, complete with a foldout diorama and light-up sign. What the f**k?! I wouldn’t have half-assed the background if they had told me! Then again, I probably would have asked for more money, too… -- source link
