And Tom’s been talking about how he’s unsure or uneasy or nervous he is or something. So Sybil puts her hand over his to comfort him (and you know she does that thing where her thumb is just stroking his softly and it’s the most comforting thing in the world) and props herself up on her elbow and shuffles up a bit so she can look at him properly and says something that just suddenly makes it all better and Tom loves her so much he has no words so his arm comes up behind her and he pulls her into that kiss.
