Ah, that’s better. I was wondering when an illustration from one of Conan Doyle’s stories would show up (if you’re wondering, I looked it up and the original artist is Charles Raymond Macauley). I suppose I should have copied the man, not the sundial, but on the other hand, I was able to sneak in a reference to xkcd this way. Not sure why Macauley didn’t - seems like the thing to do when asked to draw stick figures. His loss, I suppose.At any rate, this does illustrate a slight difficulty with mixing curves and straight lines, not to mention curves in perspective.
