I’m Merry, and I stopped giving a damn about shaving something like a year ago now. My legs would itch like nobody’s business from the stubble, and my mom would always yell at me for scratching, even though there was absolutely nothing else that helped, and now she gets mad at me for not shaving…and not scratching. :| Don’t ask me how her brain works. Being comfortable with my body is more than worth putting up with her, though. I still have a few confidence issues with them—I do ballroom dance, which tends to be a ridiculously gendered environment, and I have yet to get up the guts to wear a skirt to one of my classes. Maybe I’ll try rocking a twirly skirt at dance company auditions next semester, though :D Please say hi, I’d love to talk to proudly hairy people, ladies or otherwise! The social pressures of shaving is a real pain. As a guy, I’m expected for the most part to shave my face. I get bad ingrown hairs that I can’t do anything about, which are usually sore and itchy. I choose to shave my face though, as when I grow a beard, it itches a lot, and food and stuff gets caught in it. Anyway, your legs are simply gorgeous, and I personally wouldn’t change it for anything. -- source link
