fitgirlinthecity: LEG DAY BBS sry for the gratuitous pics I was just feeling myself post workout hey y'all I got in a pretty gnarly leg day today and I felt pretty good (n tired) at the end of the workout. warm up: 9 mins of deep squats, glute bridges, kick backs, clam shells, hip opening stretches, hip flexor stretches, and leg swings workout: 1x10 just bar squats (to get form set) 4x10 deep bar squats (I’m really trying to work on my form, I never really got low enough until today) w/ 25lb plate on each side (and even though this is way lighter than my leg workout earlier this week, I reallyyyy felt it and I’m excited to keep working on getting low and pushing my knees out n all that) 4x10 bar lunges w/ 15lbs each side (don’t alternate) 3x10 DB deadlifts w/ 25lb DBs (go slow) SS 3x12 wider stance 35lb plate deadlift 3x10 quad extension (100lbs!!) SS 15 jumping squats 3x10 ham curls (also 100lbs!!) SS 30 jumping lunges 3x12 box jumps SS sumo squat w 35lb plate I really liked incorporating the heavy lifts at the start with the circuits at the end, I was definitely sweating a ton, feeling tired and feeling the burn in my legs. one thing I do wanna get back into is barbell deadlifts, idk sometimes I feel self-conscious doing them in my gym (full of dudebros, rarely any girls in the weight room, today there were none at all). but you definitely can get a good stretch/workout in with DBs! -- source link
