Brandon looked up at her as she reached the top of the stairs. This girl has been the focus of his thoughts for weeks since they have moved in to the new apartments. He spent ever minute he could outside, hoping to cross paths with her and strike up some small talk. He wondered what her name was, and what she did for a living. His curiosity was limitless when it came to this girl. His entire fantasy of the situation was unraveled when he saw her walking him to a car in the parking lot. He had never noticed a man around her before, and was almost positive she was single. For some reason he had just assumed. She stopped on the last small landing of the stair case before turning her back to him and going up the last 3 steps to her apartment door. He smiled at her, unsure of what to say. It’s not like he had any plans if she had been single, but this was something that threw him off completely. “You’ve been looking at me quite a bit lately.” she smiled, leaning over the railing and looking across the courtyard, directly at him. He turned bright red, and his mind went completely blank, instantly. She let out a small giggle as she watched him struggle and realize he had in fact been starring directly at her the entire time she was out of her apartment walking her friend to his car. “What does your girlfriend think about that?” she added, now with an evil grin, as he started to feel light headed. In all of his dreams, she was single, and so was he. None of those made sense now, and his desire to see every inch of here whenever he could, was possibly putting his relationship… his pending marriage, at risk. “She’s not home is she. That’s why you’re out here, watching me, isn’t it?” she laughed. He felt his legs barely keeping their place under him, as he shook his head. He couldn’t put together a simple word of all things, but before he realized anything, he was shaking his head and confirming that he was checking her out when his girlfriend wasn’t around to catch him. “Well that’s sweet.” she smiled, turning to start up the last few steps to her door. “But you don’t have to worry, I don’t mind if you’re looking…” His mouth opened, as if he was going to say something, but nothing came out. She swayed her hips just a bit more as he watched her reach the top and put one gorgeous heeled leg into her apartment, a hand on the door frame, and turn back to look at him again. “… and in case you’re wondering, it’s $150, cash only, and I have an hour open right now.” she smiled as she walked inside, leaving her door open behind her. -- source link
