My favourite anatomical fact is… if you’re referring to the human body, my favourite is probably that the clavicle facilitates the majority of upward movement of the arm instead of the rotation of the arm itself! Not the most “amazing” fact that but when I learned it I found it so “ohhhhh I get it” that it stuck in my mind! In terms of animals, my favourite is easily everything-to-do-with-bird-biomechanics. Learning how birds operate in the internal sense was such a “WHOA” moment that it overshadows everything else I’ve learned about the animal kingdom so far.ANON 03: Aww, I’m flattered, Anon! If you’re just starting, it’s good to keep in mind that it’s not about talent, it’s about building a skillset. You don’t need talent to learn how to draw, just patience and drive! Just keep pushing and you’ll go beyond me!ANON 04: If you’re curious what Pokemon have already been done, please check the tags. All Pokemon drawn will appear under the “Pokemon” tag, which you can find in the Directory on the left of the blog, or at the bottom of every art post that includes Pokemon. As for whether or not I will draw a particular Pokemon in general, always assume the answer to be “no”. Unless you are willing to pay for the work, I am unlikely to draw that Pokemon. The only Pokemon I will draw without being paid are the ones I take a special interest in or are personal favourites.ANON 05: I’ve heard of Nuclear Throne, but I have not played it. My bud Hades gave me a copy though, so I’ll be sure to give it a whirl sometime!ANON 06: Yeah, the “don’t ask me about Pokemon” rule is mostly geared towards the crossbreeds to discourage those who still think it’s funny to send me “I bet you hate Gardevoir” and similar messages. Asking how I’d interpret a Pokemon is still okay; however, questions asking if I’d drawn a particular Pokemon are probably going to be blacklisted in the future - I got a tagging system for a reason and those kinds of questions are honestly a tad irritating when it takes no effort to just check. I think the idea of having regional variants is really cool! It certainly got me interested in Sun / Moon! I’m trying to stay unspoiled (it’s not working out), but what I have seen I really like!
