Hey, peeps. The Arceus package and comparative anatomy human / horse set is coming along. It is slow goings with revisions.Once the package is done I would like to upload a F.A.Q. of sorts regarding anatomical study in art and some small mechanical aspects of human anatomy for the purpose of education / understanding for growing artists + some minor science (EG: what allows wrist rotation; if muscles can only contract, what is ‘push’; study vs. understanding in drawing bones / muscle; what are ‘landmarks’). Since moving forward I will not making any further posts along this vein whether here, on dA, or my personal site / blog, I’d like to hear from you guys if there are any points you’d like me to talk about along this subject. Asks will be temporarily enabled for folks to use. Please bear in mind that I won’t be answering questions regarding design (EX: how would I approach designing a dragon), that’s a whole other bucket that is entirely subjective, and all I’m aiming to do here is impart some answers to common questions and pass on some things I have learned during my studies that I feel would help any artists struggling with the puzzle that is the human machine.Thank you for your attention!Askbox is here! -- source link
